Senior Lawyer
Location: Baku, Azerbaijan
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience Level: Senior (3+ years)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice and strategic guidance to clients in corporate law, litigation, commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, etc.
- Lead complex legal matters and high-value transactions with minimal supervision.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings where applicable.
- Draft, review, and supervise the preparation of legal documents.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery.
- Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and paralegals.
- Contribute to business development and firm growth initiatives.
Requirements:
- LL.B or equivalent from a recognized university; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Admission to Bar Association is an advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in private practice or in-house legal counsel.
- Proven track record in handling complex legal work independently.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Business acumen and the ability to manage client expectations effectively.
