Job Overview:
As a Sales Engineer specializing in flow meters, you will be responsible for the sales process of flow measurement devices, providing technical exper'se, developing client rela'onships, and achieving sales targets. Your role involves understanding customer needs, demonstra'ng product capabili'es, and offering tailored solu'ons.
Job Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development
- Identify and target potential clients in the oil and gas sector.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and trends.
Technical Expertise
- Understand and communicate the technical specifications and benefits of various flow meters.
- Provide technical support and product demonstrations to potential clients.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Understand client needs and provide customized solutions.
- Handle client inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Sales Process Management
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.
Collaboration and Coordination
- Work closely with the technical team to ensure accurate product delivery and installation.
- Coordinate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to promote products and network with potential clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales or technical support of flow meters or similar equipment in the oil and gas sector.
- Strong understanding of flow measurement principles and technologies.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to client sites and industry events.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions on product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technological advancements.
