Responsibilities:

• Provides review of the project deliverables developed by contractor companies and validate their compliance with established requirements
• Provides technical and engineering support and guidance to site engineering and/or operations team
• Ensures that the design of Mechanical systems, equipment and document packages meet statutory and regulatory requirements, procedures and scope of work
• Requires compliance with the Mechanical systems and equipment design with HSE requirements
• Undertakes in-depth analyses/studies of problems and findings identified during the review of design provided by contractor and supports identifying engineering solutions and/or options
• Prepares Technical Queries and Comments Resolution Sheets.
• Participate in tenders and Prepares Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE).
• Collaborates with other engineering disciplines in design group and operations team
• Reviews and comments on supplier information and assists with specification and ordering of materials and equipment
• Follows approved procedures, design basis relating to mechanical operations and design
• Follows company health and safety campaigns, policies and procedures and ensures personal safety and that of colleagues within own competency
• Performs recording and delivery of documents and packages in a timely manner
• Follows norms and rules relating to labor protection, safety, industrial sanitation and fire safety.
• Attends regular meetings to provide progress reports, obtain updates on colleagues’ progress and strategize on further steps.

Ideal candidate profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Understanding of scheduling principles, tools, and techniques.
• End to end project mechanical delivery experience
• Analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of the oil and gas industry and/or construction field.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in oil & gas projects
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced industry.
