Job Purpose:

The Electrical Site Engineer is responsible for the supervision and execution of electrical works on-site, ensuring compliance with design specifications, project timelines, and safety standards. This role focuses on Low Voltage (LV) and Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) applications within hotel and similar commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems on-site, including LV and ELV systems (lighting, power, fire alarm, BMS, CCTV, data, etc.).
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specifications; coordinate with design and project teams for updates and modifications.
• Monitor site activities to ensure work is carried out in accordance with approved construction drawings, project specifications, and applicable standards.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
• Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Maintain daily site reports and documentation on work progress, inspections, and manpower.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings and site documentation for handover.
• Attend site meetings with contractors, consultants, and clients.
• Identify potential site issues and propose practical solutions in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3–6 years in electrical site engineering, preferably on hotel or similar large-scale building projects.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with LV and ELV systems on construction sites.
• Software Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD; ability to read and modify technical drawings.
• Language: Fluency in English is an advantage.
• Other: Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to manage site teams and subcontractors effectively.
