Accounting Intern
Location: Baku city, Garadagh region, Baku-Astara highway 25km.
The company operating in the marine & construction industry is looking for an Accounting Intern. The main role of the Accounting Intern is to support the Finance Department in a wide range of accounting & financial operations-related tasks.
Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Finance Department in various tasks, including:
- Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry, bookkeeping, and record maintenance.
- Help reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable.
- Processing of invoices, credit or debit memos according to the company’s procedures.
- Support in performing various accounting and tax compliance duties.
- Assist with the timely and accurate calculation of wages and related taxes.
- Support for submission of statistical reports to the State Statistics Committee.
- Contribute to monthly, quarterly and yearly closing operations.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Economics/Finance.
- Working experience software Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel functions and tools.
- Fluency in Azerbaijani, with a minimum Pre-Intermediate level of English.
- General knowledge of Tax and Labor legislation.
- Open to self-learning and self-investigation, strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
