Senior Accountant / Lead Accountant (IFRS & Tax Reporting)
Role Description
- To organize accounting in accordance with the Law on Accounting of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
- Preparation and submission of reports to tax and other government agencies;
- Responding to incoming correspondence from state institutions (Tax Authorities and other regulatory bodies);
- Managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, advance reports, and preparing reconciliation statements;
- Controlling payroll calculations for administrative staff;
- Preparation of payment orders and banking documents;
- Entering and maintaining financial data in the ERP system;
- Preparation, review, and administration of contracts and supporting documentation in compliance with company policies and applicable legislation;
- Maintaining contract records and monitoring contract validity periods, amendments, and renewals.
Qualifications
- Higher education (finance, economics is preferable);
- Minimum 2 years of work experience as an accountant;
- Fluent knowledge of Azerbaijani and Russian languages, English - intermediate
- Must know tax legislation and International Financial Reporting Standards;
- PMS (Preference is given to those with international level certificates (ACCA);
- Ability to work with Excel and ERP systems;
- Ability to work in a team;
- High communication and analytical thinking skills
Work conditions
- Office in city center
- 5-day work schedule
- Minimal salary is 1000-1200 AZN (depending on knowledge) + KPI bonuses
