- Freight Coordinators – Freight Forwarding Company
- Position: Freight Coordinators (Airfreight, Multimodal and Ocean freight Coordinator, Customs and distribution Coordinator -1, Projects, Rail and Ocean)
- Location: Baku / Azerbaijan
- Industry: Freight Forwarding / Transportation and Logistics
Job Description:
- We are seeking a results-driven Freight Coordinators( Air /Sea/Road/Rail) to join our team in Freight forwarding department .
- Responsible for organizing , monitoring , managing and coordinating the movement of goods thorough various modes of transportation Air, Sea, Road or Rail
- These roles ensures that shipments are transported professionally, efficiently, cost effectively and in compliance with company policies, customer requirements and international trade regulations
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule shipments with carriers, freight forwarders , and logistics partners
- Prepare, review and process shipping documentation (cargo and transportation documents)
- Track and monitor shipments, ensuring on time pick up, transit and delivery
- Communicate with customers, vendors and internal departments, regarding shipment status and requirements .
- Have knowledge of customs clearance procedure and ensure compliance with international trade regulations are met.
- Negotiate rates and services with freight carriers and forwarders.
- Oversee and resolve issues such as delays, damages or discrepancies in transportation
- Maintain accurate records or shipments, freight costs, and carrier performance
- Assist in optimizing freight processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Meet and exceed the targets and KPIs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with track record of working in FreightForwarding transportation and Logistics industry 3+ years of experience
- Strong knowledge of international trade and logistics services in all modes of transportation (air, sea, and road freight).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills,
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficient in CRM tools and MS Office applications
- Language skills: English /Azerbaijani and Russian (preferable), fluent spoken /Written
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Having already finished military service obligations
