Position Overview:
- Systemair Azerbaijan is looking for a technically competent and result-driven Sales Engineer to join our team. This role combines engineering knowledge with sales expertise, requiring both a deep understanding of HVAC systems and the ability to communicate technical solutions clearly to customers. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to provide customized, efficient HVAC solutions and contribute to the company’s growth in the Azerbaijani market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell Systemair’s HVAC systems and technical solutions to new and existing clients.
- Conduct detailed technical consultations and design appropriate solutions based on customer needs.
- Develop strong relationships with engineers, consultants, contractors, and key decision-makers.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, offers, and product demonstrations.
- Assist with technical documentation, system selection, and integration into client projects.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to adjust sales strategy and improve offerings.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as design, logistics, and product management.
- Follow up on project pipelines, coordinate project timelines, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and meet monthly/quarterly sales and performance targets.
Candidate Requirements:
Education & Technical Background:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Systems, HVAC Engineering, or related fields.
- Solid knowledge of HVAC systems, ventilation design, and technical product specifications.
- TQDK score of 400+ or equivalent academic indicator of technical competence.
- Familiarity with reading technical drawings, project documentation, and construction standards.
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 1–2 years of sales or technical support experience in the HVAC, building systems, or MEP industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills – both technical and commercial.
- Ability to understand customer technical needs and recommend relevant product solutions.
- Fluent in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD or other design tools is a plus; CRM knowledge preferred.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple sales cycles simultaneously.
- High ethical standards, professionalism, and customer-oriented mindset.
