QEHS Manager
Job Purpose
The QEHS Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining the Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety management systems in accordance with international standards legal regulations, and internal company policies. The role ensures that all delivery, services, and operational activities are executed with a high level of quality, safety, and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Management
Establish, implement, and maintain a Quality Management across all projects and services.
- Lead internal quality audits, non-conformance tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support departments to define quality KPIs and ensure adherence to processes and customer requirements.
- Review and approve project quality plans and inspection test procedures.
Environment Management
- Develop and implement environmental policies and sustainability practices.
- Monitor compliance with ISO 14001 and environmental regulations.
- Conduct environmental impact assessments, waste control, and energy management practices.
Health & Safety Management
- Ensure full compliance with ISO 45001 and all applicable local HSE legislation.
- Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and accident investigations.
- Develop EHS training programs for staff and subcontractors.
- Monitor and report on safety metrics
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure project and operational activities follow relevant laws, international standards, and client EHS requirements.
- Serve as the key contact point for regulatory bodies, external audits, and certifications.
- Support bid teams in preparing QEHS documentation and compliance evidence for tenders.
Subcontractor & Partner Management
- Evaluate and audit subcontractor QEHS performance.
- Ensure all partners and subcontractors meet minimum QEHS requirements before mobilization.
- Provide training, documentation, and feedback to improve partner capabilities
Qualifications and Experience
- Preferable: Bachelor or Master degree
- Preferable: Certified in ISO 9001, ISO 45001 (Lead Auditor certifications preferred).
- Preferable: Nebosh certified
- Fluency in English (Russian is also preferable)
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar QEHS role, preferably in telecom, energy, or construction industries.
- Strong knowledge of local QEHS laws and global standards.
- Proficient in preparing reports, risk registers, audit plans, and training material.
- Strong communication, training, and leadership skills.
