Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Audit Senior to lead audit engagements and drive excellence in client service. This role demands strong technical knowledge of IFRS, risk assessment skills, and the ability to mentor junior team members while maintaining trusted client relationships. Key Responsibilities

• Audit Engagement Leadership - Plan, execute, and finalize audit assignments across various sectors, ensuring adherence to professional standards.
• Risk & Control Evaluation - Identify key risks, assess internal controls, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Financial Statement Review - Ensure accuracy and compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and GAAP.
• Team Supervision - Coach, supervise, and review the work of audit assistants and interns to foster growth and performance.
• Client Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients while ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.

Requirements

Experience

• At least 3 years of audit experience in an audit firm. 
• Azerbaijani nationals only.
• Education - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certifications - ACCA Fundamental Level completion is preferred.
• Technical Proficiency - Sound understanding of IFRS and familiarity with Excel and/or audit software tools.
• Communication & Leadership - Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
• Languages - Fluency in Azerbaijani and English; Russian is an asset.
