Tax Intern
UHY in Azerbaijan is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Intern to join our team . This role is designed for individuals ready to apply their academic knowledge to real-world financial analysis and compliance within a global network.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with tax planning for clients;
- Assist in the preparation of schedules needed to complete tax returns;
- Assist in gathering and organizing information needed in the conduct of various state and local tax audits including but not limited to sales and use, income, and property;
- Conduct tax research and prepare decision grids in support of projects;
- Meet deadlines for completion of tax returns and other projects as assigned;
- Duties will vary based on the needs of the firm and the interns training and experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or other related field required;
- Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel;
- Candidates with ACCA papers (F3 at least) are an advantage;
- Basic knowledge of tax legislation of Azerbaijan;
- Ability to work on a team and manage multiple tasks;
- Fluency in Russian is required, English is an advantage.
